Art Portfolio Consultation
Creating an art portfolio is about more than putting your best work on a page. It’s about understanding what your work is communicating, how it flows, and whether it truly reflects your potential — to admissions officers and to yourself.
That’s what this one-on-one consultation is for. I’ve worked with students applying to top-tier programs — RISD, MICA, Pratt, SAIC, UCLA, Parsons — and the truth is, the portfolio is the make-or-break piece. It doesn’t have to be perfect. But it does have to be intentional. That’s where I come in.
A Strong Portfolio Doesn’t Just Show Your Art — It Shows That You’re Ready
What You’ll Get in a Portfolio Consultation
During our session, we’ll meet live on Zoom for an honest, detailed critique of your portfolio in its current state. You’ll leave with a clear, customized roadmap — whether you’re just beginning or finalizing your submission.
Your One-on-One Portfolio Feedback Includes:
Review of 10–15 artworks
Specific feedback on concept, execution, cohesion, and presentation
Recommendations on what to revise, keep, or remove
Guidance on how to order your work and what’s missing
School-specific insights based on your target programs

If you're looking for portfolio advice for art school, this is where we start.
This is for you if:
You’re preparing a portfolio for a competitive undergraduate or transfer application in visual arts, design, illustration, or animation — and you’re unsure what’s working. If you’ve been spinning your wheels, getting vague advice, or second-guessing your work, this will give you clarity.
How It Works
Once you book your consultation, you’ll receive a short intake form where you can share your goals and upload your current work (PDF or Google Drive). I’ll review your work before we meet, so our session is focused, specific, and productive. You’ll receive a recording and written summary afterward.
This is not generic coaching. It’s customized, strategy-driven, and designed to help you level up — now.
